2 Minute Math Drills
You may have noticed that we have started 2 minute math drills to practice addition and subtraction facts. This fluency practice will make adding larger numbers easier for students in the long run. To practice the drills at home please print out the level your child is currently struggling with and time them for 2 minutes.
They are considered ready to move onto to the next level if they complete all 50 problems correctly in 2 minutes.
If they do not finish before the 2 minutes are up, draw a line where they stopped and continue solving to the end, going at their own pace. Please let me know if you have any questions.
